Morning, Sunshine!




I'm not a coffee drinker.
I've never really had trouble popping out of bed in the morning, until I hit my 30's.  

Now, I drink hot tea every morning to get going.





At different times in my life I've had jobs I loved going to every morning,
so getting up and going was no problem, I was ready to tackle my day.


Lately, I just tired. 

We've been keeping a busy schedule here, with both boys in sports and lots of school activities...
and family meals and inspiring movies, etc.  


When I wake up in the morning, I need motivation.
I never needed it before.
But, here I am now, and I need it.


So, what do I do?

I grab my iPhone, sit on the couch with a warm blanket and I check my email, check Facebook and check in on a few games I play.

It's strange, I know.
But, I say, something it's good not to be so judgmental and to just go with what works.

I'd like to start walking now that the weather is cooler.
or wake up by writing some morning pages.

How do you wake up?
What do you do?
What gets you going?

I like to drink coffee in the morning. Have a cuppa, check out the gardens for food or critters, come back inside for another cuppa, turn on the TV for the DVR'd shows, go online to check email, blogs, and comments. BIG change from when the children were young, had a retail business, and worked 20 hour days! Afternoons are for work...

I have a coffee, watch Joyce Meyer on TV and then check out the new blogs people have written. I love my mornings.

My husband leaves EARLY so he sets the alarm for me to go off a little later... 6:30ish. I get my son up and sometimes snooze while he's in the shower, other times I get on the computer.
It's now noon and I'm still sipping the Dunkin' Decaf I bought this morning. But I think it's time for a hot cup of herbal tea!
