Ghost Mermaids want to Possess Your Soul

I'd planned to write a post full of deep meaningful thoughts on the significance of birthdays and how people react different ways to theirs.
Some people soak up extra attention, others don't want to celebrate at all.
It's interesting.

But then I decided that was too heavy,
and I thought I'd share a dream I had the other night instead.

I have wild dreams.

I dreamt I was with one of my sisters,
and we were interviewing for jobs at a camp in the country for children with special needs.
And while there, I found out Misty Dawn was the head director of the camp.
(I've never met her in real life, but she's the blogger who started Camera Critters, the only regular meme I participate in.)

And on the grounds of this camp was a huge swimming pool.
Where I was warned a ghost mermaid lived.
And if you were swimming in the shade,
the mermaid would try to suck your soul and take over your body.

For reals.

And I was slightly scared, but mainly fascinated by this.
And the woman who warned me about it, decided to demonstrate.
So, she swam into the shaded part of the pool,
and I saw the shape of a mermaid swim up.
The mermaid came up behind her, slithering really,
and put her hands over the woman's ears
and kind of slurped into her body.

It was weird.

And the woman looked like she was in a trance.
But then I moved her into the sunny part of the pool and she was ok.

Really weird, I know.

So, then I decided to Google "mermaid ghosts" last night while writing this post...
and I found this horrifying photo.

I'm sure it's fake.
But it freaked me out.

And that's when I decided to call it quits on this post and go to bed.

I'll leave you with this photo instead.

I took this photo at our local trade days.

I love the cool stuff they sell at these open-air markets.

That's a cool dream. Isn't it amazing what we think of at night?

Rhea, better than mine.
Just been dreaming of all the housework and repairs I need to be doing here lately.
So what does the dream really represent? Water, swimming, mermaid, souls????

I have a couple dream interpretation books.... but I don't know that slithering mermaid ghosts would be easily found in them.
What kind of cocktails are you gulping down before bed?????

Well, regarding birthdays....
I LOVE mine! If hubs happens to have the day off I totally get pampered. If not we do dinner out atleast. I don't much like the getting older part but do so love being a birthday princess. ;)
Hubby... hates his birthday and doesn't want to do anything to celebrate. :(

My parents almost named me Misty Dawn. Instead they named me Rechelle and named my sister April Dawn. That is almost as weird as your dream...not.

Have you thought about seeing someone about this? Ha! :) Just kidding! I rarely remember my dreams and this post makes me think maybe that's a good thing?

You have the best imagination, Rhea .. I'm afraid of what it's going to do with that freaky mermaid picture.

You have the strangest dreams. I never remember mine. Except that Ted Kennedy one.

And then this weekend, I had a dream about Keifer Sutherland. He gave me directions. :-)

That was a bizarre dream! Except for the occassional one, I usually don't remember mind. I did have one were the flashing blue light special light from K Mart was chasing me down the street.
That was a freaky mermaid picture, don't think I want to view it again!

Is that why you dreamed about the mermaid? Or am I dense and that was just a story leading up to your picture?

I get some really weird dreams. I need to keep a notepad by my bed so I can write them down as soon as I wake up.

I had this dream about a giant white bunny, a few weeks ago. he was walking up and down the street, eating a giant carrot, laughing maniacally and stepping on everyone's vehicles...

Very weird..

I just had to go and look. That was freaky and your dream, well I really don't know what to say about that. Have you ever looked into the meaning of your dreams?

I've seen that photo floating around, too.

Scary.

I like your mermaid better.

RHEA!!!

RHEA!!!!!!!!!!!
I am shouting here, yes.

Quick, go write down every single thing you remember from your dream.

Girl...
I'm going all Stephenie Meyer on you here. GOD gave you this dream for a reason. A mermaid ghost...I am already wanting to read this story.

Seriously. Go. NOW! I will bug you about this (and caramel cake) until you do it.

*I don't expect a dedication in the opening pages, but I would appreciate a little teeny shout-out at the back of the novel. You now, "Thanks to Lula--LEIGH ANNE LITTON--for hounding me until I wrote this story. Yes, I will introduce you to Jason when I get on Ellen..."

Something along those lines.

That photo link ... freaky deaky. I have a friend who can interpret dreams. I wonder what she'd say about this one. You seriously need to turn your dreams into a novel!

I would hang her in my boudoir, with it's 20 foot ceilings, crystal chandelier and ten foot mirror. Right at my dressing table. Where my pink silk hand tuffed with gold inlay stool sits.

Whoa! That was quite a dream!

Might I suggest a nice lavender aromatherapy spritz before you turn in for the night...?

Are you pregnant? 'Cause these are the sorts of dreams I have when preggo. :)

Wow - I'm honored that we were hanging out in your dream... I think. Couldn't you have had a fun dream with me in it, rather than a nightmare??? I mean, really - I'm not scary in real life at all... honest! :-D

Hi there!
I would like to burn a theme at here. There is such a nicey, called HYIP, or High Yield Investment Program. It reminds of ponzy-like structure, but in rare cases one may happen to meet a company that really pays up to 2% daily not on invested money, but from real profits.

For quite a long time, I earn money with the help of these programs.
I don't have problems with money now, but there are heights that must be conquered . I make 2G daily, and I started with funny 500 bucks.
Right now, I'm very close at catching at last a guaranteed variant to make a sharp rise . Turn to my web site to get additional info.
