A gift that keeps on giving.

We received a huge surprise for Christmas.

A huge plasma HDTV for our den.

Our previous television was around 15 years old and not holding up so well.

We were so shocked...and excited...and amazed.

It was love at first sight.

We couldn't resist putting it on the fireplace channel that played Christmas songs.

Funny thing is, my Remy, he gets just as much joy out of the BOX it came in.

I keep putting it in the garage...and he keeps getting it out.

That's ok, Remy, enjoy the box...until trash day.

Then it's gone for good.

Why do kids love boxes so much?

Does he call it his fort? My girls use to do that!

Your TV is NICE!

Love the tv!

I also played with boxes when I was his age...there was something soothing about a small space and imagining it as my own.

That is awesome.

My kids once built a fort in the backyard with cardboard boxes. It started with a refrigerator box, then grew as they sought out more. It turned out really cool.

That is an awesome TV. I see a lot of couch potato-ing in your future.

Love the TV. Now that we have the wii...it's going to the basement, but that is also where the smallest tv is. I told Michael that he needs to win another big screen tv.

And kids always like the boxes. When we moved, mine wanted to make things with them all...and I just want to get rid of them...

Why is it that kids are happy with boxes? And could care less about what came in said box???

Shane and I so need a new TV for our bedroom. The one in there doesn't have much time left, I'm afraid...

Isn't that always the way? The box gets more play than the prize sometimes.

Happy Watching!

First, I really love the name Remy.
We almost bought a new television, but I am still too cheap.

How cool!

Mine always love the boxes too. They draw with markers all over it, cut windows.

WOW! What a Christmas surprise.
My Captain would love that one.
I used to love boxes too! Still do, but I don't crawl inside. I just find things to store in them.

I'm sure you'll get many hours of enjoyment out of the new TV. You'll wonder how you ever watched TV on those old archaic sets from the past.

I love it when kids use their imagination ... come on Mom, let him keep the box, please?

That reminds me of when LOML used to love playing with the ribbons off her packages instead of the toys.
