A Testoserone Battle in the Great Texas Peepee Wars

Some great wars in history have been started over beautiful women, such as the infamous Helen of Troy.
Other wars have become great epics on the big screen, a battle of good versus evil.
Then there are the age-old battles, such as cats and dogs...

Well, the battle in my house has NOTHING to do with any of the above. It's a simple battle between father and son...started by testosterone.

When hubby awakes this morning and ambles into the kitchen to start his morning coffee...he isn't going to be able to find his coffee maker...but will instead find this lovely little note...

I'll be back later with an update.

AND, don't forget to head over to Darcy's Graphically Designing website to vote for me, if you have a chance! I want to win her blog make-over!

"Sucker?" Wow. I am most curious as to what started this war. And about the counter attack. Now I see why you are reading blogs instead of drinking coffee :-)...Heading over to Darcy's site now.

Hmmm this should be a very interesting story. I think the note is hillarious. Y'all are probably always having some kind of fun there.

Hmmm...what's up at your household? Poor guy- morning w/o coffee can be painful.

Love the signature picture-who is it? Familiar...but can't place the face.

You've got my vote-us Texans are loy-yal. I can just do without that sticky, hot weather.

Hey, all!

I will post an update, I promise...today has been crazy, my elderly father had a hospital procedure and kids have baseball, so it will have to be later tonight. Sorry!

Husband and older son, Donny are duking it out...power struggle...Donny decided to hide his dad's coffee maker and left that note in it's place...hubby was NOT thrilled, to say the least. Tension is high....

And, also, thank you to everyone who went over to Darcy's and voted! It's neck and neck over there...

Ok, update for those of you who are interested...not sure if I should make this a post or just do it here...so, it's here for now.

I was shocked by my son's word "sucker" in the note he left for his dad. I thought he was trying to be funny, pull a prank on his dad, but turns out there was some definite hostility intended. Donny was upset because my hubby had kicked him out of the bedroom the night before (our bedroom) and told him he couldn't do his homework in there.

Apparently this really upset Donny, and so he planned the coffee prank. My hubby, when he woke up, was horrible confused (and coffee deprived) and had no idea what was going on.

I was torn...do I act confused and surprised, like I had no idea what Donny was doing? Did I share my insider's info and clue him in? Should I stay out of it completely?

Hubby was NOT amused by the prank once he figured it out. But, he hasn't punished the boy yet...

These two are having constant peepeeing contests, I swear. I use the word peepee instead of a more inappropriate word...
